Splitting load between SIP vendors

As i'm still pretty green to asterisk/Vicidial i'm kind of looking to you guys for some light on this one...

The question has been brought up can we easily split the load between multiple sip vendors for outbound dialing. Like said Vendor 1 gets 10 channels worth of dialing, vendor 2 gets 40, vendor 3 gets 60?

I'm thinking there may be a few ways to do this but i wanted to here from the experts :).

Thanks gents! (and ladies)

I believe you can limit the channels in sip.conf for the different accounts and then use failover in the dialplan to achieve this.

And of course if you use diff vendors on diff campaigns, that works, too.
I've also seen some dial plan modifications that calculated the number of lines in use on provider 1 and switched to provider 2 based on active calls. that's a little more complex, but similar to failover.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but could someone please post an example showing how to implement the channel limiting/failover suggestion posted by mflorell?
