hello all,

please help me.

i have a call center and i am using 3 different severs,

1 for web UI,
configuration is

Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2180 @ 2.00GHz
1 gb ram
136 gb harddisk
OS : CentOS release 5.2 (Final)

1 for database,
configuration is

Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X3220 @ 2.40GHz
4GB ram
130 GB harddisk
OS : CentOS release 5.2 (Final)

1 for asterisk,
configuration is

Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X3220 @ 2.40GHz
4GB ram
130 GB harddisk
OS : CentOS release 5.2 (Final)

vicidial version 2.0.4

asterisk 1.4.22

loadavg is also not that much, but still in autodial when i click on start button then after 2-3 or maxiumum 5 calls agent goes in pause mode, we need to click on pause then again on start to continue.

is there any solution for this?

any kinda help will be appreciable.

Thanks in advance

There are several issues with Asterisk 1.4.22, we recommend downgrading to 1.4.21.2 instead.

As for your other issues, what is the loadavg when this happens?

What kind of agent computers are you using?

Thanks, for the reply....

actually this happens everytime.
when i check loadavg its just 0.1 or 0.3

i will check with downgrading asterisk.

Agents are using windows machines with xlite installed, as i have created iax phones..

any suggestions?

Thanks

Xlite doesn't work with IAX, you would need something like Zoiper or Kiax for IAX to work.

yeah, sorry

i mean zoiper only, actually everything works fine except this unwanted pausing of agents.......

Thanks

Are the agents in remote location from the servers?
If they are in the same local network- have you tried changing or at least restarting the switch/router you have?
In other words make sure there are no network losses.

We had similar issue in the past and our agents are in a remote location. This was happening when i-net quality was going bad and server loses track to the agents.

Just my 5 cents...

Matt meant what are agents computer specifications, browser used etc. YOu should follow his questions to the letter ;)

are your agents on the same subnet as your vicidial server?

No, We have dedicated vicidial servers which is having different subnet then our internet provider

Well, lets put it this way- how far are agents from vicidial servers? Are servers in collocation elsewhere and agents in an office or what?

I did not tell we used remote agents, I said our agents are in remote location to the vicidial servers, which is different.

Also, please read carefully the posts, not just the first and last sentences :
okli wrote:...have you tried changing or at least restarting the switch/router you have? In other words make sure there are no network losses...
Which assumes a reply like "I have pinged the servers when this happens and there were (not) lost packets", or "I have rebooted switch/router and this did (not) help".
