Hi All
I need advise so as to how much internet speed will i need for using vicidial for 50 agents from a remote server installation

Hi
We will use G729 on an outbound program where by the m,aximum ratio can go upto 4:1

OK, with 50 agents, 200 lines, G729 you will need 3 ViciDial servers, one db/web server and a MINIMUM of 5Mb bandwidth.

thanks for the reply
also can you please advise if there will be a need for any extra bandwidth in a scenario where in we have agents logging in from india and the servers with vicidial installation be stationed in Australia.
Please fwd your contact details on my mail as well we look forward to have this installation done soon, and would want to know the specs of the servers and the cost associated in setting it all up.

If the agents are remote to the system you will need an additional 50 channels of audio and the 50 connections to the web interface. For this the MINIMUM recommended would be 8Mb, but it would probably be better to roll that up to 10Mb just to give a buffer to allow for overage.
