AL status with duration 3 seconds

Hi All,
I am running a few broadcast campaigns and i have noticed something really strange and have not been able to figure out the reason for it. Whats happening is that when the lead is dialed out and it leaves a message the final call status becomes AL, which means Answering Machine Msg Played but the call duration shows as 3 seconds.
Now the message that i am playing is a 60 second message and it makes no sense when it says the duration was 3 seconds. Also the actual Recording file is 67-75 seconds long.
I am lost right now so any help is greatly appreciated,
