I began started writing a c# application for Vicidial windows client so we can deliver the client customization needs. The agents console will now getting more fancy just need a bunch of time to debug the glitches and finish the remaining main features. so I called this project Gee9.

G9 - A windows client for Vicidial.

Soon to be release on public 1st week of october.

Cool Features:
- User custom layout on Customer info (you can now add styles now and CSS on html page for displaying customer info on-the-fly) no rebuild require.
- Direct connection to Mysql server (lesser load to web server)
- Multi-threaded environment.
-Skype icon sets :-p
- and many more to come....



Client System Requirements:
.Net framework 3.5
Windows 2000,XP Vista
.net Mysqlconnector

Server Req:
Mysql 5.X (because of the stored procedures)

Should I work on the latest one?

There have been several changes made in the RC releases of 2.0.4. take a look at 2.0.4.1rc4, or work of of the version in SVN branches/agc_2.0.4.

Will start working on the newest trunk now.

Very interesting!! Will it have the functionality to easily add extra fields to the agent console?

I think I can include that on the first public release.
