GMT Offset when loading leads from abroad

Postby dspaan » Mon Jul 22, 2013 5:20 am

My colleague was loading leads last friday onto an outbound campaign and we noticed the NEW leads were not loading into the hopper. When investigating it turned out the leads had a different GMT Offset compared to the other leads in the campaign. We assumed this was caused by my colleague being abroad when he loaded them. I searched the forums and manuals but could not find a way to define the offset while loading leads. Is this possible in any way? We had to do a database query to fix it.

The GMT offset it by default determined by the phone_code field, then by the areacode of the phone number, if you are in a multi-time-zone country.

You can override the timezone with the owner field and a timezone abbreviation, like AST, EST, CST, MST, PST, HST, AKST, etc...

Thee GMT offset is not determined by where the person loading leads is located, only by the leads and settings when you load the leads.
