One Way Audio

Postby adam » Wed Sep 11, 2013 11:31 pm

Hi Guyz,

I have a kind of issue. I am sorry I can not share the CLI as I do not have access to the problematic Server right now.

Machine is Optiplex GX620 and rest is same as signature.

I have two servers Goautodial 2.1 and other ViciBox Redux v.4.0.3 released (Signature Specs). Both are behind the router (Alcatel ONT Router). Firewall is disabled for both servers, Goautodial is working fine but Vicibox machine is having one way audio problem, I have checked firewall and network settings and they are looking good to me. I have installed g729a free codec as well and can see the translation on both. though one difference Goautodial is used for auto dialing (working good) but Vicibox will be used for manual - on hook dialing (one way audio problem).

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Adam

You'll need to either have 1 public IP per server to allow forwarding of UDP 5060, or at least 1 server will need to be on a non-standard port.

Thanks DruRoland, I got Vicibox server (OpenSusue) working by forwarding 5060 port to server but still a riddle to me why the other CentOS Goautodial is working fine without forwarding any port to server.
