Calls Disconnects as soon as Agent picks call on softphone

Postby kunlereedwan » Fri Nov 22, 2013 3:53 pm

I must confess the is one of the most beautiful Open Source Application i have worked on.

But i am having a problem with the inbound calls, as soon s the agent picks inbound call on the softphone, the call disconnects on the caller's phone and continue to read on the softphone and Agent screen.

I will really appreciate your kind support.

Thanks for posting your vicidial version with build and a very succinct description of your problem. But I should mention that we no longer charge per word or letter, so you could probably fill in a few more blanks without spending a lot more money. LOL

Post asterisk CLI output from an example. Not 3000 lines of unrelated code, just a single call with no other traffic on the system when it is tested (controlled environment ...). Post the hangup and the stuff BEFORE the hangup which may explain it. If you don't see a reason for the hangup, consider using sip debug (sip set debug ip xxx.xxx.xx.xx where the x's are replaced with the IP address of your carrier for the inbound call). That may give you a hint of your problem.

It's entirely possible that the problem is merely a missing codec. For instance, if you have included g729 in your Account Entry, but do not have g729 installed ... the call will die at the moment audio is expected to begin.

oh and:

1) Welcome to the Party! 8-)

2) As you are obviously new here, I have some suggestions to help us all help you:

When you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

This IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600
