Hello,

When an agent logs in, vicidial doesn't dial his phone. Asterisk doesn't display meetme output in the console when agent logs in. Phones register properly and can dial each other.

I'm using Asterisk 1.8.10.1 and Vicidial 2.7-401a.
meetme.conf
Code: Select all
[general]
[rooms]
conf => 8600
conf => 8601,1234
#include meetme-vicidial.conf

meetme-vicidial.conf
Code: Select all

conf => 8600053
conf => 8600054
conf => 8600055
conf => 8600056
conf => 8600057
etc.

screen -r
Code: Select all
 There are several suitable screens on:

        1474.ASTsend    (02/21/2014 04:33:08 PM)        (Detached)

Type "screen [-d] -r [pid.]tty.host" to resume one of them.

Is this a brand new install? If not did it ever work? The more detail you can provide on this type of information the easier and quicker it will be to help you

Yes, it's a brand new install, but I should mention, I dumped the database from another server. My extensions.conf is the same as the one in samples dir in docs/. You can find my full in pastebin com slash 80FTrTNd.

When the agent logs in asterisk doesn't output any signs of initiation.

This is what happens in the asterisk console whan an agent logs in. It's like asterisk doesn't know that it should dial an extension.

I dumped the database from another server.
In which case ... this server must have the admin update ip script run with the prior and new IPs. The IP of the server from which you stole the DB would be the prior IP, of course.

And be sure the version of the vicidial scripts matches the db schema of the db you stole. This information would be available in the "extras" folder in "trunk" as the last sql command expected to be issued would set it to that db schema. If the versions do not match, you'll need to upgrade whichever one is behind (vicidial scripts or the DB).
