Really bad audio -- please help

Postby igit3450 » Fri May 09, 2014 10:44 am

Hello,

We have problems with a remote installation of vicidial
Our agents are experiencing bad audio problems, let me explain.
Sound is "robotic" and customer and agent must take turns to speak.
Customer complain that they cannot understand what the agent is saying.

More info to try troubleshoot the problem.

The agents in the office connect to another remote box located in the same network as the vicidial server without experiencing any problems. So bandwidth is not a problem.
They take turns to use these systems.

GoAutoDial server loads are OK. Load averages about 5% to 15%; memory about 25%.

All is g729.

Config files were not touched at all since installation

What can be going on?
Could you please point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Running the latest version of vicidial on asterisk 1.8.x

Can you give more information on the install and hardware involved. If I am understanding correctly you are saying that server is on the same network but not on site. How are they connected and what does that look like?
