Is this possible?
Customer will be provided with a credentials to vtiger and process the details. Once they put their phones and click save or submit the phone number will be inserted to a list in the dialer for dialing in a few seconds or more.

Older versions yes. Vtiger 6.0.1 takes a bunch of custom work to get it to mesh well.
