Hi guys,

FreePBX
Vicidial
Local Network

I have Vicidial Server which connects call from an freePBX and this FreePBX is where the extensions reside, vicidial dials it when they login on vicidal agents. SO the Dialout is on FreePBX.

- Extensions - FreePBX
- Dialout - FreePBX
- Login - Vicidial

now the situation is the recording is also on FreePBX, but the problem its recording all agents call into one file audo record and not per call basis.
Samples: agent01 with extension 300 login on vicidial and make 10 calls with conversation, the recording output is like 10 calls in one audio file.

is there a way that i can disable recording from PBX and instead do it on Vicidial end somehow..? any idea and thought Please

Hi guys any idea for this..?

How does the vicidial handles recording for eveycall inside the meetme conference somehow, to record it as individual calls not record it based on a single conference.Any idea on this somehow. Thanks a lot

disable recording on the freepbx server and
check out vicidials campaign setting:
Campaign Recording - This menu allows you to choose what level of recording is allowed on this campaign. NEVER will disable recording on the client. ONDEMAND is the default and allows the agent to start and stop recording as needed. ALLCALLS will start recording on the client whenever a call is sent to an agent. ALLFORCE will start recording on the client whenever a call is sent to an agent giving the agent no option to stop recording. For ALLCALLS and ALLFORCE there is an option to use the Recording Delay to cut down on very short recordings and reduce system load.
