Call transfer not working in IBM server

Postby cgphblit » Tue Jun 02, 2015 4:33 am

We have installed vicidial 2.11 in the IBM server and when we try to transfer the call to SIP ID(which is configured in Xlite soft phone) using park customer dial after this when we try to come out from conference (using Leave 3 way call) it is not working for mobile numbers it is working fine so please guide us how fix this issue.
Server Specifications :-
Server Model : IBM
Processor: Xeon CPU E5-2620 v2 @ 2.10GHz
RAM : 55 GB
Hard Disk : SSD 500GB
Agents : 80
calling Type : Blended.
Vicidial is installed in centos 6.5 64 bit and it is done by scratch installation by using this link.
so please guide us how to solve this problem.

Please post the link by adding spaces around the "."s and removing the http:// portion.

Please also explain why you scratch installed instead of using GoAutoDial (which is the best method for CentOS installation) or using Vicibox.com (which is best for those NOT requiring CentOS). Often this explanation helps us find other challenges you may have. (Like a reseller trying to force you into something ...?)

While you did give us the major revision level of Vicidial, you must always post your Vicidial Version With Build. This is important as bugs are always version dependent.

Please describe your situation again using the actual buttons pressed without the subjective descriptions (come out from the conference? transfer to the SIP ID?). Include button for button with real data and also copy and paste any errors from your screens and/or any asterisk CLI output you believe relevant. Nothing conversational, actual technical details are best.

Also, I note that the problem is not as clearly stated as it could be. Is it that the "park customer dial" fails? Or is it that you can not "Leave 3 way call" after connecting? Or both?

So please ... details precisely as they occur on your screens and be as clear as you can (with commas and periods, too: for instance ... "it is not working for mobile numbers it is working fine" LOL.

Sorry Mr. Willam for my bad english

We installed vicidial by using below link
"striker24x7.blogspot.in/2013/04/step-by-step-guide-to-install-vicidial.html"

and astguiclient version is 2.11 downloaded from sourceforge website

I will explain the scenario clearly
1. When we receive the and incoming call or when we make make outgoing call TRANSFER-CONF BUTTON will be highlighted
2. Agent will press that button and in NUMBER TO CALL tab he will put mobile number which agent want to transfer and press PARK CUSTOMER DIAL tab
3. when he press the tab immediately customer line will be on hold and HANGUP XFER LINE tab will be highlighted
4. Once mobile number got answered agent will press GRAB PARK CALL tab to take customer line to the conference
5. if agent want to leave from conference he will press LEAVE 3 WAY CALL tab and come out from conference
This option is working fine for us but if agent want to transfer the customer call to another phone id(example 300) which we will be created in ADMIN---> PHONES HANGUP XFER LINE will not be highlighted but that particular phone will get the call and customer line will be on hold once agent press GRAB PARK CALL customer, agent
and third party will be on conference and if agent try to come out from conference LEAVE 3 WAY CALL tab is not working for this type of transfer

so please correct me if we made something wrong...
line will not be highlighted but that

You Clearly Explained all the stuff that is working properly. Then confused me with this. Perhaps you would be good enough to map this out like you did the other section.

It *seems* like you are saying that if the 3-way call is with an external number it works, but with a Vicidial phone from admin->phones, something fails. But I'm not sure.
