Calls being dropped after 30 minutes.

Hello everybody.

I just added 2 additional telephony servers to my All-in-One Servers.I used the Vicibox 6,02 CD.

I see that when an agents have 30 minutes INCALL,the call 'drops ' and they have to call the customer again .

Which can be the reason that this happen ?

Okay it just turned out that this is the SIP provider issue.

This problem is still happening.
After SIP Provider made test it results they were no problems.
Now i made some tests myself.
I added some phones at the old server 1.200 (All-In-One Server) and the interruption of the calls made with this SIP after 30 minutes does note happen.
It happens only to the new servers. 1.201(Telephony 1) and 1.202(Telephony 2).

How is this possible ?????
Can it be a Carrier configuration problem to the new servers ?

Watch the CLI in asterisks to see what's going on.
Log in through SSH
After you are in the Linux CLI, the asterisk CLI is available by entering:
Code: Select all
asterisk -R

you can leave that by typing exit

what do i have to look on asterisk -r,because there are passed like 100 scripts in a second so you cant catch anything seeing it.

i have made a tcpdump (and opened the file with wireshark)to the server that has this problem and one to the server doesnt have this problem

So it looks like the SIP provider server after 1800 seconds INCALL sends a OPTIONS message.
And in the case of the all-in-one server it gets an answer like 200 OK.
In the Telephony server it shows Unknown Dialog.
Do i have do modify smth at my asterisk or is the provider problem ?

Try using another provider. Is always a good practice to have more than 1. If the situation does not happen with the other, then, you have your question answered.

I have another sip provider.and this problem doesnt happen with other provider.
Now the question is : Why this happens only on the new servers and not the old all-in-one ?
