TRUNK SHORT FILL

Hi,

i have a mini cluster 1 x db/web + 2 x Dialers installed via vicibox 6.0.4 with Vicidial VERSION: 2.12-524a BUILD: 151216-1053.

Each dialer server uses an E1 conecition with 30 voice channels, so i set MAX Trunk to 30 on each server. E1s are configured using an E1 Digium gateway via SIP on a LAN (Each Dialer with one trunk with one gateway. Dialer1 => SIP Trink => Gateway1 and Dialer2 => SIP Trink => Gateway2

This setup is for 40 agents, about 20 on each server using Phone Alisas balancing and having Balance Dialing enabled on both servers.

This is the issue, i can not get Vicidial dialing more than 45 calls, no matter how hard i push the Dial Level (even tried with Ratio 6)

all the agents are working fine, but my E1s always have at leats 10 channels available, so there is about 20 channels i am not really using.

The more i push the dial level, the more TRUNK SHORT / FILL i get. As i undertsand the SHORT stands for how many calls the dialer is trying to place, but have no available trunk. I have already increase the Max Calls Per Seconds from 1 to 5 on both servers with no change on the behaivor.

43 Calls, with 30 + 30 trunks i have 17 additional trunks why am i getting 42 Calls short ?

I know we have too many agents for just a few channels, but if we want to get more we have to prove Saturation on our E1s and right now we are using only 70% of our available channels.

Any ideas ?

Yeah that will make the trick, but why?

If i have define 30 trunks on each server, why vicidial is not using them. I can define MAX TRUNK 100 but i will start having a lot of CHANNEL UNAVAILABLE

That is a good question. On one of my servers I have 100 trunks from my VoIP provider and i have set MAX TRUNK to 150. Even now my VoIP provider tell me that I am not using all 100 trunks.
