ViciBox v.7.0.3-160505
ViciDial:
VERSION: 2.12-560a
BUILD: 160617-1427
At the moment I am doing outbound sales calls on my own. I have set my campaign "Dial Method" to "Ratio" and "Auto Dial Level" to "2". I have two numbers purchased from the same service provider set up as two separate carriers, I have a dial plan in one that uses both. When testing with my campaign with a test list containing my mobile and landline they ring simultaneously as desired however when I pick up one the other keeps calling. This is very undesirable for me as when I pick up one I want the other one to stop calling straight away otherwise I will annoy people very quickly. Is there a way to do this?

That is not currently a feature within Vicidial, mostly because in the USA it would be illegal under FTC regulations because it could easily result in calls ringing for less than 15 seconds(punishable by a $16,000 fine per call).

Thank you Matt for the prompt reply. Can you or anyone please comment on whether there would be a more appropriate dial method to use in my situation. I plan to set "Auto Dial Level" to "1" during the evening when people are home and then change it to "2" during the day.

I would suggest enabling "Available only Tally" on your campaign, so that when you are dialing 2:1 the second line will not dial additional calls while you are on a call.
