predictive dialler

Postby tobiasm » Thu Jun 21, 2007 8:19 am

hey folks,

we're running vicidial in a test installation in our callcenter and it has been quite successful as of yet. We have a campaign with 5-7 agents and everything has been running quite smooth for the past 3 weeks on a small Celeron machine. We already used adaptive dialling in the second week, but went back to manual as we did not have enough agents for adaptive last week. Now we want to switch back to adaptive mode, but suddenly the dialler doesn't make any calls any more. It looks like they don't even get initiated.
In Real-time summary, all agents are on pause mode, and when they click on pause and resume, you can see them waiting for call for about 1sec, and then they are on pause again.
I already double checked the settings.
The campaign is set to:
Dial Method: Adapt Average
Auto Dial Level: 1.000
Available Only Tally: N
Drop Percentage Limit: 3
Maximum Adapt Dial Level: 3.0
Latest Server Time: 2100
Adapt Intensity Modifier: 1
Dial Level Difference Target: 0
Concurrent Transfers: Auto

is there anything else obvious, which i can't see out of supidness? I also looked at the vicidial_auto_calls table, but there are no calls displayed.

thanks in advance,
tobias

ntp time syncing will cause this.

It is especially important if you have more than one server.

thats it!

i figured that the ntp client on our database server doesn't work, and the difference added up to more than a minute.
Huge thanks matt!
