svn.eflo.net down

Postby SPAMSAM » Tue Sep 12, 2017 12:15 am

It seems to me like svn.eflo.net is down as an express install fails from multiple servers i'm trying to install it on.
it says

svn: E000110: Unable to connect to connect to repository at URL 'svn://svn.eflo.net/agc_2-X/trunk'

Any advice?

Just tested on my side again and it looks like it is back up.

Is there a way to force vicibox-express to use the svn that comes with the iso instead of having to update to latest at the time of install?

Yes, the svn server is back up. We also take nightly snapshots of svn and they are posted here,
http://www.vicidial.org/svn_trunk_nightly/

We are located in Florida, and our office where the svn server is housed was without power for over 24 hours.

As for VICIbox, you have to use the standard ISO if you want to select the version of VICIdial to install.

We got lucky. Never lost power (didn't even need the generator) but we took everything down for about six hours to avoid lightning strikes.

I've considered putting in a mirror of the SVN (already have a mirror of download.vicidial.com at download.vicidial.com.poundteam.com). Maybe we should do that as another backup. Every little bit helps.

Irma looked rough as hell.

How do I select which version of vicidial to install from the vicibox iso?

I usually run
Code: Select all
vicibox-express
. Are there any flags that I can use to specify the version? If so where do I set them?

I'm confused how this is related to "svn.eflo.net down"?

But: Don't use express. Use the standard installer. Even if you're the type to hijack a thread, you shouldn't be using express. Read the PDF on the Vicibox.com site for normal installation.

Fair enough for hijacking. Bad habit of people living in south africa. Will create a new thread next time.
