What kind of internet connection do you have and how many calls are going through it when this occurs?

How much is system load when this happen ? Do you have a hardware card for timer ( X100P or any digium/sangoma card ) or you are using ztdummy for timing ?

I think it is due to high latency.
I am not sure, its just what I have observed many times, to the extent that when I get this error, I check the ping time to the SIP server and sure enough, its jumped up.

How much would you consider a latency high enough to be worried?
I am currently getting (229 ms) to dialer.voipjet.com
