Recording on manual DIAL from softphone

Good Day,
I would like to ask if i have to add something to the dial plan set-up to record all calls even dials directly from softphone?

Dial plan on carrier :
exten => _7X.,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => _7X.,2,Dial(SIP/clearline/992875601${EXTEN:1},,tToR)
exten => _7X.,3,Hangup

Try this IVR in your carrier dialplan:
exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,2,AGI(agi-NVA_recording.agi,NONE------N---N---Y)
Look up the agi-NVA_recording.agi, google it, it's pretty well documented.
Just implemented this for a system last week. Works great.

I tried a dial plan like this one that i stumbled into from the net , it's working OK but it seems i can't change the target directory . . any advice on this?

there is a way more easier than this.

Admin > Phones > Select exten > Phone Context > set it to defaultlog

to check recording go to the bottom page of the extension and click "click here for phone call recordings"
