Did you load in the same list (list_id field in mysql)?

There's now a script in SVN codebase to handle this:

VICIDIAL_DEDUPE_leads.pl

It gives you several options for removing duplicate leads.

Couldn't you simply delete the list for the id and load the leads again?

That's one way of doing it. Unless you have called a large portion of your leads.
