2 Public IPs, 1 Server & Single Group of Agents

Postby streetboy » Tue Dec 11, 2018 6:05 pm

Guys,

Vicibox 8.1 from .iso | Vicidial 2.14-694a Build 181005-1738 | Asterisk 13.21.1-vici | Cluster Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | VM Ware

So, our current setup(Server A) is above, running IB Campaign, sometimes they have to be OB so in the end all is working fine. Natting is configured for mentioned server.

Scenario:
Now, we are getting another client, who wants to use our already configured network and agents for their product/campaign.
How can we accomplish above task with 2 public IPs with single server and same group of agents? If its going to get messy because of IN/OUT traffic, we can add another server. But the thing is the agents which are right now connecting to Server A should receive calls(even for new client/old one) in the end wrt DIDs and ingroups.

I tried my best to clear my point...if something is still not clear please let me know ill try to clear it...Need your help.

Thanks in advance...

All you need from this description is a second campaign (if the calls are all outbound) or Ingroup (if the calls are all inbound). What else do you think you need?

Thanks for reply William...

Yeah a second campaign/ingroup would be sufficient if its on a single IP...how can we NAT 2 Public IPs to single server Local IP(vicibox)...

It's possible to have two private IPs on a single network port, which would allow pointing each public to a different private IP, but I'm not at all certain that it's even necessary.

You can probably just point both public IPs to the same private IP and it should work. Never tried. We never need more than one public IP on a single server.

We did try, way back when, but when Apache2 updated their system to allow multiple SSL certs on a single IP address, we never had to do it again. Haven't looked back: One Server = One Public IP.
