2) Here's a handy link to download older versions of the .iso installer. One may actually still recognize your hardware. Perhaps:
http://download.vicidial.com/iso/vicibo ... r/archive/3) Before using an older installer, verify that the drive in question is actually functional. Try a stock Ubuntu or other installer. If NO installer recognizes your drive, you likely have a broken drive not missing drivers.
