Vicidial Voicemail to Email

Hi there... I was attempting to set up voicemail to email, however, it is not sending to my email. I am assuming that I need to set up some sort of Outbound SMTP, but I dont know where or how to do this. Any help is appreciated.

I saw this older article about setting to Gmail and wondered if this is accurate and all I would need to do was set it to the email SMTP that I use?
