Error: No operating system found

I have dell XPS 17 L720x. which use to work fine with vicibox 8 for almost 2 years until the HDD got faulty and now I have Replaced it with a new one and I’m trying to install vicibox. Everything goes fine with “yast lan” I could able to ping both GATEWAY and also GOOGLE. But then when I reboot after completing os installation its booting but comes up “ no operating system found”. I tried with both vicibox8 and 9 but encountered same problem.

I found that in vicibox 8 when I reboot and boot with CD and then select hard drive I could able to boot up using opensuse 42.3 but then I should leave a installation disk inside the drive Every time I start the server which is not the right way. I have tried with both bootable disk and also bootable pen drive and end up failing at the same point.

Can someone please help me fix’s this issue... Thank you all for your time and help.

you installed from the .iso file on vicibox.org ? it sounds like something either went wrong during installation or the hard drive is faulty. I would try to reinstall and see if it works. make sure you take the cd or usb drive out after the installation is complete
