Reg and Unreg zoiper phone from tel server

Postby dhijrwn » Fri Sep 11, 2020 1:41 pm

Hi guys, What is the reason why all my phones are connecting and disconnecting from the server? What is the side effect on this? Currently these are logged in agents taking calls. We are experiencing static calls/choppy/in and out voice.

You may have "network interference" options in the phones that are set to "disconnect in times of network instability". I hate that setting. Turn it off. It can even kill a call in progress if it determines the network to be unstable. I thought only X-Lite had this affliction, but Zoiper may have decided to add it for more Support $$.

Otherwise I'd say it's a timeout issue on the rtp ports, but that doesn't cause the phone to Unregister.

So I'm stumped.

What version of Zoiper is it?

Switch to WebRTC and and eliminate the need for softphones altogether. Makes life easier not having to constantly tell "new agents" the settings to add to zoiper/xlite etc or having to do it yourself
