When you Move a lead from List 1000 to list 2000, there are two fields altered IF there are custom fields on the "losing" list:
list_id (from 1000 to 2000, obviously, which moves the lead)
entry_list_id (from NULL/blank to 1000) which designates the CUSTOM FIELDS to be used when dealing with this lead.
Moving the lead does NOT give the lead access to the new custom fields.
However: If you blank the entry in entry_list_id (or change it to 2000), the lead will then:
* Have access to the custom fields from list 2000
* LOSE any data in the custom fields stored in the table for custom fields for list 1000
