remote agents broken on 2.0.4b0.5?

Postby AlexR » Wed Dec 05, 2007 8:52 pm

Matt,

hello, im trying to do a simple dialout using remote agents but calls are just not passed to them. Is this feature broken on 2.0.4b0.5?

I see lead on the hopper ready to be dialed, but nothing happens.

Im using Asterisk 1.2.19.

Can you give me any advice on this?

thank you!

2.0.4b0.5 was never a release it must have been an SVN download, can you tell when you had download this code?

As for issues with Remote Agents, There are some long standing bugs with it, but they only occure after it has been running for a while.

Can you post more information on what exactly you are trying to do and what you have set up so far?

Thanks for the reply Matt.

You are right it was an SVN download downloaded mid Oct if i recall. I was trying to do a simple dialout to a remote agents... I have the 24 hour schedule on the campaign, so i can see that there are leads to be dialed in the hopper.

It did work to my surprise but until 1 AM, (luckily it was a short list with me a few coworkers *angry coworkers now*)

Any idea why it took so long to dial those leads? If i have the 24h setting i understand it should be dialed inmediately.

Thank you for your help!

One of the crontab script probably reset something at that point in time I would guess.

I would advise going to 2.0.4 full release, not the beta release.
