Hi
which softphone is best to interact with asterisk.
I trying idefisk but it shows some authentication error i.e., cannot connect to server. same thing happen with the firefly.
I try them on my static IP too but they cannot work.
I am doing same as in scratch_install.
So where is the problem.
My asterisk is working fine.
Please help
PS- I want to use both iax and sip .

post your iax.conf file as well as the setting you are using for your softphone.
Is your server and/or softphone behind a firewall that might prevent a connection?

it cud be a NAT / firewall issue
