install asterisk and vicidial on different machines

i've seen that you use /usr/share/astguiclient/start_asterisk_boot.pl to start asterisk but i'm tryint to install asterisk on a different machine, how can i do?

Thats a perl script that can be used to automatically start asterisk on a server startup and this script includes only in astguiclient package but if you dont want to use that script to start asterisk you can do it by normal commands to start the asterisk and place those commands on you startup file instead of this line.

The common commands

modprobe zaptel
modprobe ztdummy (if you are using any card for timer than specify here)
ztcfg -vvvvvv
safe_asterisk
