You need to do multi server and load balance it.
check the load_balancing txt on the docs directory. read it.
as for g729
purchase it from digium.
Get paid for US outbound Toll Free calls. PM me.

Hi
you need to plan the hardware to increase the Seat capacity
and multi server setup is recomended for 100 kind of setup
for G729, you need to buy per channle license from Digium
roughly around 10$ each i belive
you can try passthrough also
ram
Kindly post your feedback, if this solution works.
so its very usefull for others who join later as a NEWBIE.

Additionally when you purchase the g.729 Codecs from Digium they will email you specific instructions for installation.

You cannot passthrough g729 streams with vicidial since it uses meetme rooms and transcoding to slin is a must for it ( not sure about app_conference ) . You can buy g729 from digium for number of outgoing calls you make .You can save few licenses by using u-law on agent side which also helps on reducing load .
