inbound calls with VICIDIAL?

Postby olovka » Mon May 05, 2008 4:51 am

Hi, everybody!

I am currently exploring posibility to build inbound call center based on VICIDIAL.

But, I can not find anywhere can VICIDIAL/ASTERIX combination can support this:

call at 777 001, run campain1 and connect with operator Jeny
call at 777 002, run campain2 and connect with operator Jeny
call at 777 003, run campain3 and connect with operator Jeny

Lines 777 001, 777 002, 777 003 etc should bee connected with ISDN PRI (E1) interface.
All this should run as a kind of CRM (customer relationship management) for different companies or product. Meaning, call at 001 is call related to cars and Jeny should know that and be ready. Call at 002 is call related to cosmetic products and Jeny should get screen with message; Welcome to cosmetic products support...

Can this be made with VICIDIAL? Can inbound calls be identify by extensions (001, 002...)?

I don't quite understand your examples, but yes VICIDIAL can present different scripts to an agent depending on the number that the customer dialed and the in-group(queue) that they are put into.
