Hello.
Wanted to know if anyone has ever set up a vicidialer database server in one state/country and then have dailers in another state/country. Do they have to be in the same place? Has this been successful? Is there an issue wtih lag? Is this a matter of the bandwith and connection between them?
This would be a new set up. Have another existing good and existing one.

It is a much better idea to have everything in the same place and just use gateway servers to connect agents in remote locations to the central system or a gateway in another country to connect the remote trunk lines to the central system in one country.

I think your setup is like this :
country_1 : dialer(sip trunks to country_2) + dbserver
country_2 : dialer(zip trunks to local provider & sip trunks to country_1)
the traffic between the two dialers will be voice (sip) : this is what most call centers use as network topology (between the two countries usually you will have a dedicated link but you can go cheaper ofcourse)
