monitor agents over IAX trunk

Postby ast1 » Thu Jun 26, 2008 11:21 am

Hi there,

I was wondering if there is a way to monitor reps over IAX trunk.

I have set up an IAX trunk between our vicidial and asterisk server. I want to be able to monitor the agents by dialing 6+session id.

Thanks in advance

Yes, just need to set your dialplan to be able to do it on your Asterisk server.

You aren't actually going to do meetme over IAX, just forwarding of a call.

Something like this:

exten => _68600XXX,1,Dial(${IAXTRUNK}/${EXTEN},55,To)

Matt,

This is what I have done so far:

In extensions.conf:

[globals]
IAXTRUNK=IAX2/ASTtest1:test@X.X.X.X

[default]
exten => _68600XXX,1,Dial(${IAXTRUNK}/${EXTEN},55,To)

And it worked. I can monitor the reps over IAX trunk. Thanks all your help, Matt.
