Can anyone suggest the minimum server hardware configuration required for 32seat call center to use Vicidial, MYSQL and Asterisk? Does it require too much resources? My current server is not accepting more than 15agents at a time.
Also, another problem that I am facing is my server with vicidial, Mysql and asterisk is it eats up almost 2GB RAM leaving just about 100 to 200MB free. But when I reduce the number of agents to say 5 then also still memory usage is same, which probably could be that process is not killing or memory is not refeshed and buffers everything there by using lots of resource. Can anyone help me on this?

What is your maximum dial ration(lines-to-agent ratio)?
Are you doing full recording?
If you are using SIP trunks, what codec?

line to agent ration is 1:3 if that is what you are asking.
Yes, we are doing full recording.
we are using G.729 codec.

You need at least two separate servers, or three if possible.
move your database and web server to another machine.
Are you recording your audio to RAM drive?

Do I need to have 2 servers to run just 32seats? I have currently HP dual core xeon server with 4GB RAM, wouldn't it be enought to run on a single server?
No, I am not recording in RAM. If that is accidental, how do I know whether its happening or not? Also do you know how to flush the memory while the server is live and working?
Can anyone using upto 32 seats or more give me their hardware configuration being used?

If you were recording to RAM you would have set Linux up with a RAM drive.
G729 is very resource-intensive, as is recording. for good performance you should use two separate machines.
