Leads dialed several times

Postby ermali » Fri Aug 01, 2008 7:49 am

I just finished the construction off a central database for 3 vicidial servers and all went OK but for some reasons the servers keep calling numbers that they called some mintes ago. I don't know what might be the reason. If you can help me i need some advise.
Thanks in advance.

are you using the "down count xth new" method and have not removed new from diallable statuses (this would cause each lead to be loaded twice into the hopper).

Do you have duplicates in your lists?

Have you checked that you have the call_log FastAGI calls everywhere in your dialplan that they are supposed to be?

Do you have more than one instance of the AST_VDauto_dialFILL script running across all servers?

The list order is set to Down and in the dial status NEW exists.
Only that i loaded the leads not from the vicidial loader but directly from the database and then updatet the status to NEW , lead_id and entry_date.

The servers work OK if they run from they own database.

The first configuration was:
3 Vicidial+Asterisk+WebServer+Mysql
and worked OK

The second configuration that didn't work was:

3 Vicidial+asterisk+WebServer
1 Mysql

do you have entries for all servers in the single MYSQL database. are you now load balancing via one of the different extensions?

I think the problem might be the hoper of the servers :) because they have their own hoper.

the hopper script should only run on one server somewhere in the setup. guess running it three times at the same time could cause leads to be duped into the hopper.

you should only have the crontab entries for the hopper on one server. it takes care of the hopper for all diallers.

Check your crontab settings on all servers. Only one of them should have the AST_VDhopper.pl in its crontab.
