Hi,
I upgraded our system from version 2.0.3 to 2.0.4.1rc2 and everything looks to work fine.
I was just wondering if I had to upgrade from 2.0.3 to 2.0.4 first and thereafter to rc2 ???
Thanks,
heinz

Doesn't really answer my question.
In the Upgrade document the upgrade process is described from 2.0.3 to 2.0.4 and from 2.0.4 to 2.0.4.1.
I upgraded directly from 2.0.3 to 2.0.4.1rc2 and I am not sure if this wasn't an unwise shortcut.
But looks good and I hope it's gonna stay that way...
Thanks,
heinz

Nothing really wrong with upgrading to 2.0.4.1rc2 from 2.0.3. Database structure of 2.0.4.1rc2 is the same as 2.0.4. So if you compare the step by step upgrade from 2.0.3 to 2.0.4 to the RCs, to what you've done, it's almost the same.

hi eijal,
I can confirm that everything went fine for me.
So I assume you can just upgrade from 2.0.3 to 2.0.4rc3...
thanks,

what nobody discussed is how about the recordings?
at the moment im upgrading 2.0.3 to 2.0.4rc4 and this
STARTING ASTGUICLIENT INSTALLATION PHASE...
Creating /usr/share/astguiclient/LEADS_IN/DONE directories...
Creating /var/spool/asterisk/monitor directories...
is running a long time.
Im wondering will it also update the said recording path?
Im a little bit OC on recording_log lately.

The initial recording path is not touched, but where the recordings are placed after the AST_CRON... recording processing scripts will move the files to a new set of directories. These changes are mentioned in the UPGRADE doc.
