Voice Broadcasting and Batch Dialing

Postby tektrix » Fri Oct 24, 2008 7:31 am

Hi

I m having an issue in doing broadcast dialing. I have configured it using remote agents . It dials ok but dialer dials in batches like if i set 100 lines, dialer will dial 100 lines and then wait till all calls are connected or treated and then ll dial next 100 calls .

I want dialer to dial constantly dial 100 lines all the times without waiting. Is it possible, if so how can we do that.

Any help will be appreciated.

Version 2.04 . Its configured as remote agents , lines are set in remote agent configuration and it is made active to start dialing .

I believe there is tweaking involved in campaign setttings . I m using it as ratio dial .

Still need more info on your remote agent setup.
- campaign VDAD exten
- dialplan number of remote agents
- extensions.conf entries for remote agents dialplan number.

I have made my own VDAD extension which calls a customized agi . Actually after broadcasting message if callee presses 1 then agi script goes dials another number where our ACD lies.

SVN trunk offers this feature without breaking how VICIDIAL works, you might consider using that instead.

Give this a whirl:

; VICIDIAL SURVEY transfer script AMD with Load Balanced:
exten => 8373,1,Playback(sip-silence)
exten => 8373,2,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => 8373,3,AMD(4000|1500|1500|6000|120|50|3|256)
exten => 8373,4,AGI(VD_amd.agi,${EXTEN})
exten => 8373,5,AGI(agi-VDAD_ALL_outbound.agi,SURVEYCAMP-----LB)
exten => 8373,6,AGI(agi-VDAD_ALL_outbound.agi,SURVEYCAMP-----LB)
exten => 8373,7,Hangup

Change the answering machine detection to better suite your connection type.
