perl problem

i am getting this problem
All tests successful.

/usr/bin/make test -- OK
Running make install

make: *** No rule to make target `1'. Stop.
/usr/bin/make install 1 -- NOT OK
Failed during this command:
OYAMA/Net-MySQL-0.08.tar.gz : install NO
when i do
install O/OY/OYAMA/Net-MySQL-0.08.tar.gz
in scratch installation

i have done
[root@upico ~]# which make install
i returned
/usr/bin/make
/usr/bin/install


cpan> o conf init
to configure also but nothing happned
help me out

What perl version?

What astguiclient version?

perl 5
following scratch installation
so not installed
astguiclietn yet
or asterisk
this problem came in
SUBPHASE 3.1: Installing Perl Modules
installing these modules from cpan

Install gcc it will solve your problem.

#apt-get install gcc
or
#yum install gcc

and follow the rest of the Scratch_Install document.
