You should be using the stable 2.0.5, or if want the very latest - SVN trunk:

$ svn checkout svn://svn.eflo.net:43690/agc_2-X/trunk

Do you need for some reason 2.0.4 exactly?

Have you noticed vicibox-server project? Gives you Ubuntu and Vicidial installed more than easy:

I have updated the file online:
http://astguiclient.sourceforge.net/Ubuntu_Install.txt

and it will be updated in SVN on my next commit.

Thanks for the catch!

Hello!
I've followed the scratch install and during the installation changed default passwords from 1234 to my own. I've changed them also in astguiclient.conf and manager.conf. I've also had some problems with linux headers but since I dont use ZAP channles i assumed there are not vital for me. The problem is that in the tutorial it states that there should be at least 6 screens including asterisk. I get only two
5150.ASTfastlog (Detached)
5147.ASTVDadapt (Detached)
So I have to manually start asterisk. The vicidial www page seems to work fine. What could be wrong ? I usee ubuntu 8.0.4 and vicidial 2.0.5 / Thx in advance

EDIT:
Ok, I've noticed that the number of screens varies from 2 to 7. When I start asterisk manually apparently they execute. But still asterisk won't start by itself.

7207.ASTVDremote (Detached)
7204.ASTVDauto (Detached)
7201.ASTlisten (Detached)
7198.ASTsend (Detached)
7195.ASTupdate (Detached)
5150.ASTfastlog (Detached)
5147.ASTVDadapt (Detached)

Did you follow the SCRATCH_INSTALL or the Ubuntu_install document?

Thanks for the note on the Digium updates. I really do hate how they keep changing the links to their tarballs:

wget http://downloads.digium.com/pub/asteris ... 0.2.tar.gz
wget http://downloads.digium.com/pub/zaptel/ ... .27.tar.gz
wget http://downloads.digium.com/pub/libpri/ ... 2.8.tar.gz
