Install perl Modules from aptitude in Debian

Postby juanchonk » Tue Aug 11, 2009 8:06 am

Hi everyone, I´m new and I am creating a shell that installs vicidial in Debian 4 OS, my question is: Is there any way to install the perl modules from aptitude, rather than install from CPAN? :? , Thanks.

Download ViciBox server and see how we do it on Ubuntu, it should be similar to Debian.

I can confirm it works on Debian. I have modified recently Vicibox install scripts for Debian 5 and apart from a few packages, which have to be taken care of and not related to CPAN, everything works just fine.

These are the packages in question:
#lame
#linux-source
#mysql-doc-5.0
