Loading List Through Command Line Help

Postby xxttxxtt » Mon Aug 10, 2009 3:44 pm

Hello,
I recently had to provide support for a Vicidial System again. I haven't work on this for years. So my knowledge is kind of fuzzy on this topic. Basically i need to load the list through the command line but i forgotten how to do it. So i need help on the steps on how to achieve this. I would like to know how to load it from the FTP first and all the commands from the command line. The system is now an Ubuntu server.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Guys
Vincent

you need to "load the list through the command line" ... meaning you will already have the list locally on the server and you want to execute a script that will load the file from a local location?

when the normal script runs (fired by a user on "Load Leads") it first copies the file to a local location, and then executes a command to load it. so look in the lead loader page and find out what executes at that point and mimic it.
