softphone is not ringing when dialed thru astguiclient

i have successfully imported my database in mysql but whenever i login using the astgui client, my eyebeam softphone doesn't ring. any suggestion regarding this?

when you use astguiclient.php it will not ring... try using agc/vicidial.php

and also check your sip connection by typing sip show peers if its connected to your box.

yes sir it is agc/vicidial.php i have used. sorry forthe wrong term and it isn't ringing. i have already checked the status of the softphone, it is registred when i checked it in sip user peers in asterisk console. i have also configured the astguiclient phone settings but still it wont connect. what could be the possible problem of this thing?

is your zaptel module configured properly
are you using ztdummy
if yes is it configured properly
do
lsmod
and c if its there
otherwise
do
modprobe zaptel
modprobe ztdummy
