Problem Loading Leads

Postby xxttxxtt » Sun Sep 10, 2006 7:04 pm

Hi, I was wondering what was the maximum # of leads that can be loaded at one time. Somehow I cannot get the super list loader to work. If the number of the list is small then the list loader would work. If I tried to load more then a 1000 leads then it would rarely get loaded. My list is in the correct format just as the sample provided. Is there another way to load leads or what am I doing wrong? Thank you for taking your time and helping all of us with our problems.

You can load in more leads if they are in Tab-delimiter/pipe-delimited or CSV format than if you do it in Excel format. That's because Excel throws in a lot of formatting junk and it can sometimes corrupt the data from what the lead loader is trying to load.

My suggestion is to use the text-based formats and try the command-line lead loader if you need to load hundreds of thousands of leads in a single file(which is what we do).

are there any errors in your error_log?

Do you have the OEL perl modules loaded?

Does /home/www/htdocs/vicidial/ exist?

Is it set to world writable?
