You would need to talk to your Cisco service company about this. They have to set up SIP trunking(with the appropriate licenses of course) to your Asterisk server as well as setting up the DIDs to allow call routing across the trunk.

I know it can be done, but the Cisco folks never post their documentation anywhere.

Ok, great thanks for your advise. Bellow is my idea that I may need your advise:

1. set up SIP trunk with VICI/Asterisk between Cisco call manager
2. Define custome type extension in VICI, change dialplan to dial SIP to sofphone of Cisco call manager as extension.
3. Let agent login by above custom extension
3. Allow call coming from Cisco & direct transfer to VICI/Asterisk, get into in-group, transfer to availible agent who log in Cisco extension.

I test it by other Asterisk extension. It can log in cusotm extension to another Asterisk extension. I assuem it may work for Cisco, is it?
