calls being placed but not ringing

Postby phil_discount » Thu Oct 08, 2009 8:04 am

Hello guys,

I've got a problem with my sangoma card.
if more than about 7 agents logged in, i cannot make any call anymore.
agents are waiting more than 5 minutes for a call.
if i try to make a call with my softphone through the PBX my handy doesn't ring...in softphone i hear no TUT .. TUT .. TUT
on CLI i get NO error...searched many logs without any error.

no errors on wanpipemon...link is established...
every 10th call is ringing...9 calls failed and the 10th is ok..but all calls without error.
and suddenly everything works fine again...
i think it appears when more agents are working...
the first two days with 5 agents was fine, no we are talking with about 10 agents...only one campaign.

first i thougt it was our provider, but we've got 3 PBX lines, i changed one from the other dialer and the same problem...the other dialer works fine, so it can't be the provider.

here is an output from cli where vicidial tries to phone out:

Hello,

tonight i made a test and i found out the error.

i created a testcampaign with 100 leads and the same phonenumber.
one agent logged in, set 20 calls waiting for agents :-)

we've got an inbound system and the first 15 calls were placed fine but then no more calls come in, vicidial realtime shows me the whole time 20 calls.

in my inbound system the calls goes down to 1-5 calls....

so it seems that too much calls crashs the e1 line...any ideas?

UPDATE:
i made a second test:

i placed 30 calls over the E1 line between tksystem and vicidial...all 30 calls placed fine i see the 20 calls in our tksystem.

UPDATE:
third test :-)

our inbound system has got 2 E1 lines from another provider called telekom germany.
on my dialer we use 3 E1 lines from provider versatel.

now i take one Telekom PMX and i see it works fine ....
tomorrow i make some calls to our provider....

we use german PMX lines, do u think that there can be differences in configuration from one provider to another provider??
not that i've got a configuration problem

when i make 20 outbound calls (nothing else - in the night)
i get following output with the problem-provider

Code: Select all

I make some new tests:

Vicidial
Telekom PMX: works fine
Versatel PMX: works fine with 10 parallel calls, then every channel have to reset

Another Dialer
Telekom PMX: works fine
Versatel PMX: works fine (make a testcampaign with 30 parallel calls, every call was fine.

i'm at the end of my knowledge...i think the versatel PMX needs a special configuration...

anyone some ideas what i can change in my configuration?
here is my config:

UPDATE:
its really strange.
i made a testcampaign with 1000 leads and 1000x times same phonenumber. i set 11 calls waiting for agents!
login with agent, and vicidial dials on 11 lines, 1x phone rings, 10x busy!
so far everything is fine.
when i make 20 calls waiting for agents
i get: 1x phone rings, 10x busy and 9x no answer
when i make 30 calls waiting for agents
i get: 1x phone rings, 10x busy and 19x no answer
i can only make 11 calls, all times the 12th,13th,... call fails...
with the other PRI (same E1 only different provider) it works.
i also set calls per second to 1, so he dials a bit slower, same result.

i made another test.
installed 3 normal softphones, each softphone has got 6 lines to dial.
i made 18 parallel calls and it works, no problem occured.
so i think it cannot be a problem of my provider :-/

on monday i get special support of my provider. i hope they find something, because the provider already made a trace on PMX.
when i make 20 calls, the see all 20 calls...11 calls were ok the other calls fails but they don't know why. after that every channel is blocked for a short time...

i found out the problem.
our provider has a security feature in the PMX.
no more than 20 calls/minute are allowed cause of security overflow.
