Soft Phone not ringing

Hi,

I have confgured Vicidial as described in Scratch-Install document. I have created phones, compaigns, lists. When i rum vicidial/admin.php and monitor compaigns i can see that autodialing is working but there is no. ring on soft phone and no call connected to agc/vicidial.php "Noon is in your session. Further there is no output on Asterisk CLI becuase of which i am not sure if Vicidial is able to dial. I am using IAX trunk with on of our running asterisk server. I have the following questions

1. Whether softphone should be registered with Vicidial by specifying any string or dialing any code or any configuration required in database

2. Is there any checklist to verify that all Vicidial components are running properly

3. When using agc/astguiclient.php, manual dialing not working, whenever i click on manual dial it just enteres a # at the end of the URL and nothing happens.

4. Is there any way to test that calls are going through as there is no output on CLI.
