how to change admin password

hi
im forgotten the admin password of vicidial. how to chage the password of the same from linux root login.
also want to change the mysql admin password. if i try to change the admin password for mysql from root linux login.

pls help me out. im buddy for this

Well for mysql you have tools for that (refer to MySQL documentation).

I do not know where you are stuck but if you lost both, MySQL and Vicidial password I would do the following:

1. use mysql tools to change and reset root password
2. connect to mysql, goto the user table of you vicidial configuration an perform the followig update: update vicidial_users set pass='PASSWORD' where user=6666

PASSWORD has to be replaced by your password for vicidial
