Reset file to NEW

Hi,

I was wondering how to reset file to NEW on database.

This is quite interesting in some case when an error has been performed on a database (agents giving from message, etc.)

I do not want to use "DIAL STATUS", but really set old files to NEW in database.

I tried to do so on vicidial_lists table but this does not seem to be the right idea (might need something else).

What exactly do you mean by "reset file to NEW"?

are you trying to dial a list a second time (call the prospects who did not answer again?) if so, they don't need to be set to NEW, you need to dial "NA" calls and reset the call status to "Not Dialed".

Read the manual. Makes it a lot easier.

If that's not it ... please explain a bit more.

The issue is that when sometimes you rely on internal mechanisms to dial more than once a number it takes a lot of time.

And, from time to time, I found out (on other systems) that resetting to NEW is better in term of scramble and dialing.

In that case, you need to read the manual for how to use your cool new dialer. If you choose to use it in ways Other than "as designed", let us know your results. But the recommended methods for use are in the manual (which is required reading).
