how to redirect the out put of mysql database ?????????????

i want to know how to redirect the out put of mysql to a text file
like i want all answering maching despositiaon of all agents
if i gaive this command at mysql prompt
Select * from vicidial_list where status='A' and modify_date > "2006-05-05 00:00:00" and modify_date < "2006-05-05 23:59:59";
it fetch a long list
if i am using putty i only get output of abt 120 line and rest scroll up and gone
so i want that if it could give out put to a file so that i can get all the despositions

Have you tried using PHPMyAdmin to output queries into text files?

Have you tried changing your scroll buffer in PuTTY?

no i have not triied php myadmin i ll try now
mean while i ll do the scroll buffer increas in putty
